Principal:
Diane Highsmith, Principal. Ms. Highsmith has over 25 years of experience as an educator in the Philadelphia School District. As a native South Philadelphian from a proud family of Philadelphia School District educators, Ms. Highsmith is a product of the Philadelphia public school system. She graduated from Roxborough High School and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood from Cheyney University. Ms. Highsmith received a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Arcadia University, which she also received a fellowship in the mathematics certification program. After teaching at the elementary, middle and senior high school levels, Ms. Highsmith received her elementary principal certification from Cheyney University. She served as assistant principal at Peirce Middle School for 5 years.
